Tal R rivisita la Egg Chair
Tal R, ha celebrato il 50° compleanno della Egg (Chair), rivisitandola con tessuti patchwork della propria collezione.
L’artista di origine israeliana ha creato un look hand–made per la poltrona progettata nel 1958 da Arne Jacobsen, per la ditta danese Fritz Hansen.
Un pezzo cult ancora oggi in produzione: fluidità, ricerca funzionale, forma cocooning, valenza magica, fertilità, privacy, leggerezza, sono da sempre le sue caratteristiche distintive.
“Inspiration is such a complex thing. When you’re happy you have a lot of energy, but when you’re sad you’re much more observant. All feelings can and must be part of the artistic process, and you’d better be grateful that we have this intangible and wonderful thing called feelings. It’s a Carnival the Lord has given us.”
